Obituary for James Trotter
James “Jamey” Lawrence Trotter, 59 of Iva SC, passed away after a brief battle with cancer.
Jamey was born to Juanita and Jimmy Hembree on November 17, 1963 in Anderson SC. He was then adopted and raised by loving parents Juanita and Jerry Trotter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Angela Trotter, sister Cindy Watkins (Ronnie) and brother Phillip Trotter.
His children include daughters Jessica Watkins and Jennifer Hall (Clay), and son Jason Trotter (Emily).
He was adored by his six grandkids; Braxton, Grady and Grayson Watkins; Emrie Hall; Caylee and Sydney Trotter.
Jamey was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Trotter and his brother Roger Dale Trotter.
Funeral services, to celebrate Mr. Trotter’s life will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625. Rev. Sam Duncan will officiate.
The family will receive friends, at The Standard, prior to the service, from 1:00pm- 2:00pm.
The family will be at the Trotter Home in Iva, SC.
