Obituary for James "PeeWee" Ginn
James H. (PeeWee) Ginn, 76. Resident of Townville, SC, passed away peacefully March 1, 2021 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
PeeWee was born on February 17, 1945 in Anderson, SC to the late Lisbon James and Mary Lee White Ginn.
PeeWee was known for being a handy-man and loved helping others. He was the owner of PeeWee ‘s Landscaping where he took pride in his customers yards and was appreciated dearly by them. Pee Wee enjoyed many things including working, fishing, and hunting but his greatest joy of all was spending time with his family.
PeeWee was survived by his three daughters, Angie Ginn, Bessie Shurkus, and Sheila Hicks, all of Townville. He was also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and his companion, Shirley Ginn.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dessie Mae Ginn, and his siblings, Doug Ginn, Carl Ginn, Thomas Ginn and Shelby Ginn.
A celebration of his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 4, at Oakdale Baptist Church with Rev. David Blizzard officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00.
The family will be at his residence in Townville for those wishing to give condolences.
