Obituary for Jackie Pierce
(Jackie Pierce) Jacqueline Carughi Pierce, 81, of Anderson, died Monday, November 21, 2022, at her home.
Born in Kearny, New Jersey, on August 26, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Milton Carughi and the late Theo May Spears Carughi.
She was a retired real estate agent with Stathakis Realty and Coldwell-Banker (Hugh Durham Agency). She was of the Baptist faith, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially when they wanted to go out to eat!
She is survived by her children, Sharon Auten (Frankie), Debbie White, Mickey Bailey (Tony), Robbie Burke (Debby), and Stacey Dunlap (Tom). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Travis Elgin, Aaron Elgin, Katie Auten, Mandy Mooney, Brandy Daniel, Kristy Brock, Branyon Burke, Joey Burke, Jamie Teasley, Josh Dunlap, Maddison Dunlap, Carissa Bailey, and Kayla Raynor, as well as 23 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Carolyn Beyer (Hans).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, on Friday, November 25, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625. Rev. DeLennon Stowe will officiate.
The family will receive friends, at The Standard, prior to the service, from 12:30pm – 2:00pm.
