Jack Edward Johnson
September 21, 1953- December 9, 2022
Jack Johnson, 69, of Anderson, died December 9, 2022, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Jim Johnson, and the late Delphia Johnson.
Jack enjoyed woodworking, building, and playing guitars. He played guitar in several local bands prior to becoming ill.
Jack is survived by his wife, Cathy Johnson, and his siblings Linda J. Rice, of Clemson, SC, Mary Altom, of Easley, SC, Margaret Hanks, of Anderson, SC, Betty McLane, of Aiken, SC, Lewis Johnson (Kathy), of Anderson, SC, William Johnson, of Anderson, SC. Jack is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Johnson, of Anderson, SC.
The family wishes to thank the staff of AnMed Medical Center, and Hospice of the Upstate, for their outstanding care for Jack.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at South Pointe Baptist Church, 1319 Highway 29 S, Anderson, SC, 29626.
