Hugh Marshall Ricketts, 76, of Belton, SC, gained his wings on July 8, 2022.
Born April 12, 1946, he was a son of the late R.E. and Cleo Ricketts.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Ann Jonas, infant daughter, Donna Marie Ricketts, grandson, Scotty Lee Ricketts as well as several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Simmons Ricketts, daughter, Ashley Ricketts, sons, Chris Ricketts (Tina) & Craig Ricketts (Cathy) of Anderson. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, his sister, Joann Martin and many nieces and nephews.
He was a farmer, carpenter, and wood craftsman. He loved to work in his shop and spend time with family. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He will be missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, July 15, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Steve Ricketts will officiate.
Visitation will be held prior to the service in The Maple Room of The Standard from 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
