Obituary for Helen Korves
Helen Korves was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother during her 87 years of life. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Helen was a faithful member of St. Thomas Moore Parish for more than 50 years. Helen went to the Allentown School of Cosmetology and was a lifelong beautician. She was a long term employee of Rodale Press and retired as an executive secretary. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, baking for everyone and had a passion for bingo!
Born on May 11, 1935 in Emmaus, PA; she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Verna (Baron) Toth.
Helen was predeceased in death by her husband Henry of 62 years and siblings, Stephen Junior who died in World War II, Vincent, Elizabeth, Michael, Andrew, and Mary.
She is survived by her daughter, Loreen Erickson and husband Thomas, son Scott Korves and grandchildren, Shannon, Ashley and Douglas.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date.
