Harold Edward "Ed" Black, 86, of Belton, SC, went to his heavenly home on Monday, May 1, 2023.
Born on March 4, 1937, he was a son of the late John Black and the late Ruth Holcombe Black.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Black, his daughter, Sharon Pruitt, sister, Juanita Dillinger, brother, Preston Black and his nephew, Rickey Kelley.
Ed attended Pendleton High School and was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He retired from Darby Metalworks and also worked for Hospice of the Upstate. He enjoyed sports, working on his farm and driving his tractors.
Ed is survived by his son, Steve Black, stepsons, Ken Holmes & Joey Holmes, grandson, Stevie Black (April), granddaughter, Holly Black, five great-grandchildren and three nieces.
He is also survived by his sister, Mary Buchanan, and brother, J.L. Black (Judy).
