Gwendolyn Sue Travis, 62, wife of Mark Travis, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born December 3, 1960, she was a daughter of the late Thomas L. Boggs and the late Jeanetta Allen Pierce.
Gwen was a loyal employee of Lowes in Anderson, SC, and retired after 30 years of service there. She was especially known for her hardworking nature.
She was an incredibly beautiful and loving mother and wife. Gwen enjoyed camping, being outdoors and had a love for Nascar.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Jessica Gentry; son, Scott Gentry (Miranda); granddaughters, Aria, Adaleigh & Brielle; stepchildren, Heather Travis, Keeley Bubnes & Eric Travis, brothers, Steve Boggs & Thomas Boggs, Jr.; sister, Theresa Gebhardt; mother-in-law, Barbara Travis, and her sweet pup, Trixie.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
