Obituary for Glenn Plummer
Glenn William Plummer, 59, husband of Julie Wyman Plummer of Anderson, died Saturday, October 31 at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston.
Born in Charleston on November 8, 1960, he was the son of the late Curtis William Plummer and Martha Lloyd Plummer.
Glenn was the owner and operator of Weldarc, a welding and safety supply company. He also worked with Anderson County School Dist. 5 Transportation Department as a bus driver. Glenn loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with them while grilling outdoors. He was a member of Brookstone Tennis.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Julie Wyman Plummer, daughters, Jennifer Plummer Poag (David), Kristin Plummer Cauthen (Brian), grandchildren, Hudson, Hazel and Hank Poag and Charlotte Cauthen and his siblings, Cordie Plummer Pappas and Jeff Plummer.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 2:30pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC 29625. Dr. David J. Bailey will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
Social distancing is to be observed at all events and face masks are required.
