Glenn R. Hanks, 82, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
Born in Anderson County on April 19, 1939, Glenn was a son of the late Cecil James Hanks, Sr., and the late Alda LeCroy Hanks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Cecil Hanks, Jr., and Jimmy Hanks.
Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Johnson Hanks, daughter, Kelly (Greg) Simmons, son, Todd Hanks, grandsons, Jacob Simmons and Jonah Simmons, great granddaughter, Millie Simmons and sister, Joanne Fortune.
He was a brick mason for 47 years and a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.
A private memorial service will be held with Rev. Sam Duncan and Rev. Jimmy Cash officiating.
