Frances Melton Neill
July 26, 1930- January 13, 2023
Frances Neill, 92, of Anderson, SC, died Friday, January 13, 2023, at her daughter’s home, in Mount Pleasant, SC.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late David Hayne Melton, and the late Ruby Rogers Melton.
Frances earned her degree as a registered nurse through Anderson Memorial Hospital and worked there for many years. She ultimately retired as the Occupational Health Nurse at Glen Raven, where she worked for 27 years.
Frances is survived by her children, Rosalyn Adams, and Jeffrey Adams (Cristi), her grandchildren, Carson, Savannah, Hatcher, her brother, David Roger Melton, and her nieces, Lisa, Gina, and Kim. She is also survived by her stepchildren, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and step great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Craig Neill, and her sister, Linda Melton.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, January 20, 2023, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625. Pastor James Strickland will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service in the Maple Room at The Standard, from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.
