Donna LaQuee Wells, 83, of Iva, SC, died Thursday, October 6, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home.
Born in Howes Cavern, New York, she was a daughter of the late Howard LaQuee, and the late Lois Woodbeck LaQuee.
Donna was known for smiling, even into her sickness she always wore a smile. She was a godly woman and was always involved in church activities when she was able. Donna enjoyed going on walks, especially when her dogs could tag along. She loved to cook and would always make extra so everyone would have enough. One of Donna’s biggest passions was animals. She would feed and care for any type of animal that she could find, or in some cases, any animal that found her. Donna will always be known for being humble and showing love to everyone.
Donna is survived by her children, Judith Sweet (James), William G. Wicks (Catherine), and Michael Charbonneau, along with several grandchildren, and great- grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Anna Tuller, and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Wells, her son, Robert “Paul” Charbonneau, and her brothers, Leroy LaQuee, and Ronald Pixley.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the Tribute Room at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625.
A reception will follow the service from 2pm-4pm, in the Cypress Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center.
