Obituary for Delrea Kinley
Delrea Kinley, 88, wife of the late Marce “Bud” Kinley, of Anderson, died Friday, February 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Ila, Georgia, on August 26, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Robert “Rob” Beatenbough, and the late Orie Dudley Beatenbough.
Delrea was a talented seamstress. She has created drapes and curtains for many Anderson area churches and homes, and worked tirelessly on hundreds of bridal and prom dresses. She was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed any opportunity to cook for her family.
She is survived by her sons, Doug Kinley (Cheryl), and Derrell Kinley (Jill), her grandsons; Logan Kinley, Josh Kinley, Matthew Vaughn, and Drake Kinley, 5 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
She is also survived by her sister, Robbie Sue Hill, and her daughters-in-law, Jennifer Kinley and Laura Kinley.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Dennis Kinley, and Don Kinley and her siblings, Mary Beatenbough and Buren Beatenbough.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, S.C. 29625. Pastor Jeff Smoak will officiate, and burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson.
The family will receive friends, at The Standard, prior to the service, from 1:30 pm – 3:00pm.
