Obituary for David Enslow

David Wayne "Dave" Enslow died peacefully in his home with his wife Deborah by his side, on February 21, 2021 in Anderson, SC at the age of 66.

David is survived by his wife, Deborah Enslow, his dog, Violet, siblings James Enslow & Joyce Reimers, his children Melanie (Jay Facchiano) of Maryland, Matthew (Suzanne) of New Jersey, and Debb (Carmen Dellasalla) of Pennsylvania, along with his six grandchildren: Dominic, Joseph, Christopher, Parker, Cheyenne & Savannah.

He was preceded in death by his parents Elaine and Kendall and his brother, John Enslow all from Maryland.

David was born on February 23, 1954 in Hyattsville, MD to Kendall and Elaine Enslow. He attended Northwestern High School, class of 1972. He married Deborah (Zimmerman) in Maryland in 1991.

After moving to Sarasota, FL in 1998 David continued his long career in the furniture business. In 2012 David committed to working his ministry full time. He was the Founder and Director of Next Steps for Men, a nonprofit organization equipping pastors and leaders in men’s ministry. He was a Deacon for years at Covenant Life Church in Sarasota, FL.

In October of 2020, he and his wife moved to Anderson, SC. Deborah would like to thank her new church family at New Covenant Church, her neighbor, family and friends for their continued help over the last few months.

A memorial service will be held on March 27, 2021 at 11am at New Covenant Church, 301 Simpson Road, Anderson, SC 29621. A reception will be held for attendees afterwards.
