December 11, 1960- March 11, 2023
David Lofton Crisp, age 62, of Anderson, died Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late James Crisp, and the late Betty Lou Crisp.
David was a master handyman and was able to fix anything. He was artistically skilled, and enjoyed clay art, and painting. He also loved music and played the bass guitar. David was of the Baptist faith and was a faithful man who loved the Lord. David’s biggest passion was spending time with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his children, Joshua Crisp, Megan Crisp and his son-in-law Genoir Glenn, along with his life partner of 27 years, Gayla Oakley. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordan Crisp, Natalie Crisp, Joshua Grayson Crisp, Aiden Crisp, Jayden Glenn, and Aviana Glenn. David is also survived by his siblings, Terry Crisp, Toni Shaw, Donna Siders, and Deborah King.
Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Tracey Nix.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Monday, March 20, 2023, at The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 2pm, in the Tribute Room at The Standard.
