Curtis Edwin Pless
November 24, 1955- January 19, 2023

Curtis Edwin Pless, 67, of Anderson, died Thursday, January 19, 2023, at his home.

Born in Elberton, GA, he is the son of Mornay Anderson Pless, and the late Coy Edward Pless Sr..

Curtis retired from his career as an executive of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center serving Anderson County. He was a member of West Anderson Church of God, NRA, Anderson County Crime Watch, and FEMA. Curtis was a devout Christian and Republican and dedicated his life to helping people. He was an avid hunter, and fisherman. He attended Hart County Highschool, Tri County College, and Anderson University.

Along with his mother, Curtis is survived by his siblings, Rickey Pless, Mona Johnson, his nieces and nephews, Misty Ashworth (Jason), Kayla Moore, Jason Pless (Jessie), and Megan Aiello, three great-nieces, and three great-nephews. His greatest companion was his Belgian Malinois, “Zar”.

Along with his father, Curtis was preceded in death by his brother, Coy E. Pless Jr., and his nephew, Jeremy Pless.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm, Sunday, January 22, 2023, at West Anderson Church of God, 101 Rogers St, Anderson, SC 29625.

The family will receive friends following the service.
