Obituary for Connie Powell
Connie Powell, 71, wife of the late Charles Edward Powell, of Anderson, died Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Anderson, on May 26, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Walter Leonard Harris , and the late Frances McGill Harris.
Connie retired from textiles and was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church in the Flat Rock Community.
She is survived by her children, Krystal Powell, and Stephanie Harrell (Jerry), her grandchildren, Karly Pressley (Branyon), Tyler Cummings, Kendall Pressley (Austin), Harley Dempsey, and Carter Dempsey, as well as many great-grandchildren.
Connie is also survived by her sister, Debra Lynn Traynum.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her Baby Brother Harris.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Ed Hunsinger will officiate, and burial, beside her husband, will follow at New Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson.
The family will receive friends, at The Standard, prior the service, from12:30pm until 2:00pm.
