Connie Chastain Traynum, 71, of Central, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday February 20, 2023, with her family beside her at Rainy Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Born on June 29, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Olas and Henrietta Chastain of LaFrance, SC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Harvey Traynum.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tony M. Traynum, of the home, her daughters, Michelle Traynum of Pendleton, Kellie Collins (Jerry) of Townville, Amy Long (Josh) of Anderson, & Sarah Traynum of La France as well as her five wonderful grandchildren whom she loved with her whole heart, Tanner, Maggie, AJ, Traynum and Jamie.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at Bishop Branch Baptist Church, 1109 Central Rd Central, SC 29630. Rev. Royce Addis wil officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made to Rainy Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
