Cody Bryant Seagraves, 90, of Anderson, died Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her home.
Born in Anderson she was a daughter of the late Ervin Claude Bryant, and the late Alice Weldon Bryant.
Cody was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, adult coloring, cooking, and solving puzzles. You could often find Cody on her porch swing, or watching Braves baseball, and Clemson football. Cody loved her family, and especially loved to take trips with them. Her family was her heart. Cody loved the Lord, and would take every chance she had to witness to others. She was a good role model to those around her. She worked at Michelin for 17 years before retiring.
Cody is survived by her three daughters, Peggy S. Pritchard (Stephen), Carol Dianne Flowers (Jeff McGee), and Sandi Harbert. She is survived by her grandchildren, Chad, Stephen, Tiffany, Micki, Amy, Savannah, Chesnie, Jamie, and Krystal. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Noah, Jordan, Aden, Lauren, Ryan, Jackson, Hunter, Hannah, Journey, Sebastian, Amiley, Brady, Cody, and Alexis, along with her great-great- grandchildren, Laiken, Emmerson, Aubrey, Bailey, Deacon, and Bentley.
Cody is also survived by her siblings, Larry Bryant, Charles Bryant, Carolyn Mayfield, and Joyce Smith.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Seagraves, her daughter, Karen Cobb, her daughter, Vernice Waddell, her daughter-in-law, Janet Seagraves, along with her siblings, Bob Bryant, and Francis Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30pm, Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Oakdale Baptist Church, 6724 Highway 24, Townville, SC, 29689. Rev. David Blizzard will officiate. Burial will follow at 4:15pm at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 2609 Highway 29, Anderson, SC, 29621.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 1:30pm until 2:30pm.
