April 30, 1946 – July 3, 2022
Charles Luther Knight, 76, husband of Penny Lynn Knight, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Born on April 30, 1946, he was a son of the late William Edgar Knight and the late Mary Anderson Knight.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Cummings.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children; Brad Knight (Megan), Jeff Knight (Amanda), Jennifer Baker, Corey Alexander (Christine) and Amanda Plumley (Tony) as well as his special children; Amber & Shane Ruiz. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren:Gracie, Elizabeth, Tanner, Dawson, Mary Kate, D.J., Kaitlyn, Bryson, Asher, Graham, and Liam and his siblings: Jimmie Phillips, Peggy Wright, William Knight (Jimmie), Jo Moore (Brud) and Ken Knight (Patricia).
A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, July 8, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
The family will speak with guests following the service.
