Obituary for Charles Ralph Cates
Charles Ralph Cates, age 69, of Anderson, passed away at the Rainey Hospice House on Friday, March 5, 2021.
He was the son of the late Clyde Ralph Cates and the late Adell Timms Cates.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lee Cates.
In addition to Lee, he is survived by his son, Christopher Cates, two sisters, Juanita McCall and Nancy Popham and several nieces and nephews.
He worked at various manufacturing jobs including, Jacobs, Singer and TTI. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, traveling to the mountains and working in his shop.
A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
