Carole Lynn Jaskot, 74, died Thursday, February 4, 2021, at her daughter’s residence. She passed away peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her family and dog, Muffin.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 30, 1947.

Daughter of the late Edna Hazelrigs Jones and James F Jones. Sister to her late brother and sister, Gerald Jones and Kristy Sommerkamp. Grandmother to late Eddie Tate Jr.

She is survived by her twin sister, Diane Frank; her four children, Angel Massingale (Therese Krentz), Laura Tate (Eddie), Michael Jaskot (Briana), and Kimberly Jaskot (Chau Tran); her grandsons, Zachary Tate (Lindsay) and Everett Tran, and her great-grandson, Odin Tate.

A strong woman that displayed unconditional compassion and love. She lived a life of service to others. At one point an EMT, medical assistant, member of Arc (an organization for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities), volunteer firefighter, and a police officer. She found purpose and meaning in life helping others and being around her family.
