Obituary for Carlos Miyares
Carlos Miyares, 68, of Little River, SC, went to his heavenly home on September 28, 2022.
Born on May 11,1954, he was a son of the late Carlos Medina Valdes and Acacia Millares Bentacourt..
Carlos was a wonderful example of a Master Mason, husband, father, and friend. Carlos spent most of his life working in manufacturing, with the majority of his time spent in human resources management. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and flying his Cessna 150. He was a Master Mason of Wallace Lodge in Gray Court, SC. He also served in the United States Army and National Guard, and ended his military career as a Sergeant.
He is survived by his wife Daymi Palmero Perez Miyares; three siblings, Margarita Medina, Lazaro Medina, and Isaura Medina, four sons, Richard Miyares (Kate), Daniel Miyares (Lisa), Kevin Miyares, Bryan Miyares; three daughters Mindy Carter (John), Caroline Miyares, Lesley Miyares; and nine grandchildren: Ella Miyares, Stella Miyares, Samuel Miyares, Madison Fowler, Maxwell Fowler, Bryson Mann, Emma Howell, Sadie Saxon, and Spencer Hayes.
Visitation for family and friends will be on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. His life will be celebrated immediately after the visitation in the Tribute Room at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jerry Gray will officiate, and burial will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army.
