Obituary for Bruce Duff
(Bruce Duff) Bruce Allen Duff, 52, husband of Christy Duff of Anderson, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Morristown, TN, on August 9, 1968, he was a son of Troy Duff Jr. and Mickey Boggs Swafford.
Bruce has been a 30-year resident of Anderson, SC. For many years, he has met customers at the Verizon Store on Clemson Boulevard, where he was a customer service agent. He currently worked in the Verizon Call Center in Customer Support. He and his family have been long-time faithful members of Friendship Holiness Church in Anderson. Bruce was a people person and never met a stranger!
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Christy Osmer Duff, his sons, Kaleb Duff and Elisha Duff, and his siblings, Tammy Carroll (Tony), Tonya Cooke (David), Tabatha White (David) and Michael Duff.
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 2:00pm in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd. Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Vance Touchton and Rev. Rodney Turner will officiate.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00pm – 2:00pm.
A second funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00pm at Pleas Mount Baptist Church, Gurley, AL. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Social distancing is to be observed and face masks are required.
