Obituary for Bobby Joe Walker
Bobby Joe Walker, 72, of Starr, S.C., died Sunday, November 20, 2022, at his home.
Born in Anderson, on August 14, 1950, he was a son of the late Lee Walker and Eunice Walker.
He was a retired truck driver, and drove for many years all over the country for AmCan Trucking and The Hess Corporation. He attended Cowboy Church of Anderson, and had a great love for God, his family, and friends. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, and watching Clemson Tiger Football!
He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Pearson and her husband Joey Pearson of Anderson, grandchildren; Justin Jordan, Haley Jordan, Ethan Pearson, Samantha Walker, Kendall Walker, and Daniel Burke, all of Anderson, and great-grandchildren; Raelynn Martin, Laveah Hollingsworth, and Legend Walker, all of Anderson.
He is also survived by his siblings, Debbie Green, and Marlon Walker.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Sammy Joe Walker, who passed away in April 2021, as well as his brother, William Walker.
