Obituary for Billy Lee
Billy Ray Lee was born on June 13, 1946. He departed this world on September 28, 2022, aged 76.
He was preceded in death by his loving parents; Willie and Lola Mae Lee, his brother; Sylvester (Zadie) Lee, and his sister; Doris C. (Randolph) Morris; as well as two nephews; Kenneth Fowler and Sherwin Morris.
Left to mourn their loving brother are Mrs. Anne L. (Melvin) Walker, Mrs. Geraldyn L. (Bobby) Holden, and Clark (Rose) Lee. Billy Ray was a wonderful father to Kelly Lee (John H.) Tillie, Alydia Lee Sims (Ali Abdalrahman) and Lisa M. Johnson (Xavier). Also left to mourn are his 4 grandsons, 3 granddaughters, 8 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was a dedicated member of King David Baptist Church, serving as a trustee and a member of the Sanctuary Choir. He was also a Vietnam Veteran, an avid fisherman and an awesome Man of God.
Although the family resides in the Lee family home at 713 Gary St., Anderson, we ask that you respect the fact that we are not accepting visitors. We ask that you pray for us during this difficult time. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at King David Baptist Church . Interment to follow at KDB Cemetery.
