Betty Ann Jackson Moats, 87, widow of Owen Moats, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022.
Born May 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dock Jackson and the late Sadie Phillips Jackson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Rhonda McAlister, grandson, Mark Leopard and a great-granddaughter, Ella Parker.
She is survived by her three daughters, Sheila Reid (Frank), Donna Cox (Randy) & Alesia Stephens (Doug), son-in-law, Mike McAlister, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Taylor Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church and retired from K-Mart after working more than 30 years in management.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Rev. Mark Duncan will officiate and burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held prior to the service in The Maple Room of The Standard from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
