Bertha Snyder Trotter, 97, of Anderson, died Sunday, September 25, 2022, at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Snyder, and the late Vera Snyder.
Bertha loved her family and enjoyed every chance she had to be around them. She had a green thumb and was often seen tending to her flower garden. She also loved her chihuahuas who were always by her side.
Bertha is survived by her children, James Trotter, Bonnie Driver, Albert Trotter, and Kenneth Trotter. Along with her grandchildren, Scotty Driver, Shane Trotter, Michelle Trotter, Sonya Trotter, Brian Driver, Cory Trotter, Danielle Driver, Nicole Trotter, Matthew Trotter, Brittany Driver, Austin Trotter, Emily Trotter, James Driver, Alex Driver, and her 8 Great Grandchildren.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Dewitt Trotter, their son, Harold Trotter, and her sisters, Louis Crain, and Ellen Howard.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in The Tribute Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC, 29625.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 3pm until 5pm in The Maple Room at The Standard.
