Obituary for Annie "Ann" Fisher

Annie “Ann” Fisher, 81, wife of Ray Fisher Jr., of Iva, S.C., entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Elberton, Ga., on July 7, 1941, and was a daughter of the late Robert and Louise Holland.

Ann retired from Chiquola Mill in Honea Path, where she was a cloth grader. She and her husband were members of Varennes Presbyterian Church in Iva, and were founding members of Donalds Church of God in Donalds. She enjoyed spending time on her farm and loved taking care of her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ray Fisher Jr., her daughters, Patricia Fay (Douglas), and Cheryl Fisher (Greg), grandchildren; Ashley Sullivan, Dylan Teague, Greta Brock, Shaun Brewington, Brandon Fisher, Melissa Martin, Kelly Watts, and Steven Fisher, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother, Donnie Ray Holland.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Larry Fisher (Tammy Burdette), and Ray Fisher III, and her siblings, Bobby Joe Holland, Wesley Holland, Johnnie Moore, and Martha Nell Neece.

The family will receive friends from 12:30pm – 2:00pm, on Monday, January 30, 2023, in The Maple Room of The Standard Cremation & Funeral Center, 1621 Pearman Dairy Rd., Anderson, S.C. 29625. A graveside service will follow, at 3:00pm, at Iva City Cemetery in Iva, S.C., with Rev. James Ray Lollis officiating.
