Obituary for Ann Foy Edwards
Ann Foy Edwards, 74, resident of Anderson, wife of Thomas F. Edwards, Jr., passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, surrounded by family.
Born in Jacksonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late James L. Foy and Nettie Gwynn Foy.
Ann was a retiree with Bassett Walker in Martinsville, VA and later moved to Anderson to be closer to her daughter.
Ann was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple in Iva, SC.
In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by a daughter, Sherri Bowles (Michael) of Anderson, and four grandchildren, Nicholas Iacobucci, Amber Bowles, Allison Bowles, and Ashley Bowles. Ann was also survived by her siblings, Geraldine Dekker (Michael) of Caledonia, IL, Rondal Foy (Deidre) of Richlands, NC, and James Foy (Mary) of Richlands, NC.
Ann was predeceased by a daughter, Pamela Wiggs, and a grandson, Christopher Hodnett.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022, at the M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery with Dr. G. Larry Pearson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
