Angela Marie Alewine, 37, of Iva, SC passed away at her home on April 7, 2021 due to unexpected medical problems.
Born on March 17, 1984, Angela was the daughter of Matthew and Cheryl Oakes.
In addition to her parents, Angela is survived by her beloved husband, Jeremy Alewine and children Chloe Alewine, Breanna Alewine, Christopher Shaw, Jaylynn Elizabeth Shaw, stepson Dalton Alewine; brother, Andrew Oakes; grandmother, Cynthia Campbell and grandfather, Cecil Oakes.
Angela was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Roger “Dick” Campbell and J.B. Cheek; grandmothers, Doris Cheek and Ardith Oakes; great grandmother, Irene Caswell and two cousins, Courtney and Jon Micah Oakes.
Angela loved her family beyond measure. She was a devoted wife and mother of Christian faith. Angela was a stay-at-home mom who home-schooled her children and maintained a loving household. Angela had a special passion for animals. She loved all her animals but had a special fondness of Sugar-Gliders and was looking forward to marketing them to other Glider owners.
A celebration of her life will be held by the family at Union Baptist Church, 703 Barnes Station Rd, Iva, SC 29655 on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
